The Man Behind the Cape

Monday, January 18th, 2010

Hello Graphic.ly Community,

Recently you’ve probably seen some pictures of me running around Boulder in a cape or tweets going out signed JS.  Some of you may have wondered who this guy is.  Well that’s me, Jon Stump, your Community Collaborator.  You maybe wondering what exactly a Community Collaborator is, let me tell you what it means.

What it means is that I’m a Graphic.ly community member like any other, the biggest difference being that I broke into the office one day and wasn’t kicked me out for some reason.  I’m someone who’s going to be around for anyone that needs help.  I’ll submit ideas, problems, and questions like anyone else.  Along with that will be adding to other member’s ideas, problems, and questions.

A little bit about myself is that I recently moved to Boulder to work with Graphic.ly.  I only know a few people out here and recently have met some more.  I’ve been a long time iFanboy member and comic reader for years.  I have a philosophy that there is a comic for everyone, so feel free to ask me about suggestions.  I’m a fan of all sorts of different movies and TV shows, although sadly I don’t have cable at the moment I’m playing catchup via Hulu and Netflix (under jmstump).  Also I love seeing all sorts of silly things that are on the internet.

I want everyone to know I plan on keeping an open policy like Micah.  If you want to get ahold of me for any reason I can usually be reached via the following:

Email & Gtalk – jons [at] graphicly [dot] com
Twitter – jmstump
Facebook
Skype – jmstump
Xbox Live – Captain Clammy
Aim – guardiandevil21

As I mentioned earlier I’m new to Boulder and prior to that lived in Troy, MI.  So if you’re in the area and know things that I should do or want to meet up please drop me a line.  As Micah mentioned earlier, feel free to come up with other fun stuff to keep me busy.

Lastly since one of you are bound to find the fantastic picture of me as a kid in my underwear and cowboy boots, thanks to my brother, here it is:
